The wireless people can't help me with my internet return, so they send me back to the automated system (even when I beg to speak to a human being from wireless, and even after each time they promise me I'll get to speak to a person). The core problems seems to be that because I no longer have internet service, the automated phone system sends me to my wireless account. Returning the modem does NOT cancel your service. You (I hope requested a tracking receipt from U.P.S.) can track and recieve info.on when the modem was delivered. However you still must call and CANCEL your service. But I can't get to anyone who can help me with this.

Att router return how to#
I need to get the information on how to return my equipment, if not I am told I will be charged $90. This is a public forum of other customers so we don't have that access. Call AT&T and check the status of the account. You should only be notified to return equipment is if the account was setup to be canceled. You should have recieved clear instructions from AT&T when you disconnected about what to return and an ID to give the folks at the UPS store so they could tell you what was expected. If you move your service, you take the Gateway (modem/router combo unit) with you. I am on hold for time number seven right now. That is why a previous posted asked for your router model number.

I have called ATT SIX TIMES NOW, spending as long as 45 minutes one time and at least 20 minutes each of the other times. I have gotten other emails from ATT in the meantime, and I have checked my spam, but have not gotten this email. I was supposed to get a return label in my email so that I can take the equipment to UPS and I never got it. Hi - I cancelled my internet from ATT a little over a week ago.
